TIM set itself the challenge of developing a premium version of its store concept exclusively for the Iguatemi Faria Lima shopping center. While we needed to maintain elements of the existing store concept, the space should deliver a more sophisticated experience for its customers, conceived as a tasting lounge in an intimate and welcoming atmosphere, although technological.
To develop the concept, we researched examples of stores in the segment and other businesses that had a look and feel that promoted a disruptive service space that embraced the consumer. One of the planned changes compared to conventional telephony stores was the specification of more comfortable furniture. Conventional service desks were replaced by stripped-back armchairs with a signature design, making the place more inviting. In addition, an area was set aside at the back of the store for private service. The balanced use of the brand’s colors in composition with woody surfaces, hollowed-out metal structures and biophilia elements promoted a home-like feeling. The “Connected Home” environment has a shelf dedicated to home automation products, presented in a way that resembles a living room. To complete the consumer journey, a Café/ Workplace corner was designed, providing a convenient place for customers to enjoy a cup of coffee while accessing their laptop.
The aim of the project was achieved, as the store managed to convey the desired sense of exclusivity, becoming an attractive and innovative space for the mall’s demanding customers.
