The biggest challenge for the Carlo’s Bake Shop rollout was adapting the original characteristics of the concept to different layout formats and dimensions. It is up to the architecture and design office to be the guardian of the concept so that the rollout is faithful to it, with the necessary adaptations.
The main objective is to design rollout projects that are economically viable, as the investment cost is generally lower than that of a flaghship.
To ensure that the Carlo’s Bake Shop project was scalable in a practical and dynamic way, we adopted standardized sizes for the elements that make up the project, as well as modularized furniture. This can facilitate scale production by printers, joiners and locksmiths.
Although this is a reproduction of the project, the specificities of each store require the creative team to look at the rational interpretation of the design and architectural elements, so as not to distort the proposed concept.
A rapid expansion of the brand, through the presence of the stores in various locations, guarantees strength, recognition and consumer loyalty. The preservation of the original concept, with the necessary adaptations, ensures that all the brand’s visual touchpoints have synergy.
